Growl alerts you to events. Growl can alert you to events with a profound notice. Documents have finished copying, acquaintances have logged in, and different email has arrived. Growl avoids you the rest of the time. Growl gives you complete control over how you are notified and the course of action you want to get in response to the warning in addition to notifying you when something occurs. You have the option of receiving an audible or optical alarm, or both. You have a choice of the indicate combination, whether it stays on the show, how important the notice is, and even whether or not it should feel forwarded to another notebook. A notification may be read aloud, send an email, execute a script, or start an application.
